Somebody is listening...

Here is story of Clever Hans, horse that could answer any questions if they had mathematical answer. He would tap his foot correct number of times. It was quite a mystery for while how he did that until it was found that in order for Hans to be able to answer there had to be at least one person who knew the answer because when Hans was tapping his foot down, at the right count that person usually will take audible breath or release tension of the body which smart horse picked up... took them a while to figure it out...

Yes, have seen this before...cool huh ? I believe Sally hears the "goodbye wind up tone". I've been watching her when I'm using the phone, sometimes she is asleep or looking out the door and i am careful not to move now, so i think this might be it...or maybe she is using that sheltie telepathy on me.:eek2:

It just means you have to test her. NExt time, maybe tell the person you're talking to that you're going to NOT say good-bye and NOT sound like you're winding down the conversation. Maybe hangup and keep talking to yourself in that same tone. See what happens. Oh man, I'd have so much fun with this.

I'm sure my boys know exactly what is going on......I'm sure I don't.

Buffy hates it when I talk on the phone. She hangs out in the same room and keeps asking for attention (bringing her toy, chasing her tail, attacking my feet, whining, etc.) I think she doesn't get why I am talking to myself. Or maybe she thinks I am talking to her?
