Ann that looks perfect! The door opening is lower and like the x-pen the top is open so we might coax her in with breakfast for a while to get her used to the idea. I like the idea of the interlocking foam playroom tiles. GOOD IDEA! I really don't think she'd jump out. If she was younger maybe but she's older than her "Rescue" paperwork says she is.
Upon further review of the product Ann,. is that door opening comfortably tall enough for a girl who's 16" at the shoulder? She's not ROUND but let's say comfortably poofy. Would that door size be an issue?
I just put mine back up today so I measured the door opening. It's 19 inches from the floor to the top of the opening. I think it's actually larger than a crate door opening. (My more 'comfortably poofy' girls have no trouble wandering in and out of it...
Actually, my 2-year-old granddaughter does too!)If you think Claire might need more space inside, I'd order the two extra panels that make it a bit bigger.http://www.amazon.com/IRIS-Containm...upplies_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=14MFW7P6BCM4RGVXZXAB
I also put this pad on top of the interlocking squares. It anchors perfectly under the pen sides and is also waterproof. It's actually a whelping pad but I love them and use them for lots of things.
