Sonny - Ohio sheltie that went missing in Maple Grove, MN on Christmas Eve

[FONT=&quot]Sonny is an eight-year old neutered male sheltie that was visiting Minnesota over the holidays with his owners, from Ohio. He got spooked when someone came into the room he was in, and bolted out the front door. He is unfamiliar with the neighborhood and Minnesota cold weather. His owners had to go back home, and were back here in MN over this past weekend. There are many volunteers and strangers that are willing to help, and want to return Sonny to his owners!! He was most recently spotted on 1/12 and 1/13 in Brooklyn Park, MN, near the Missippippi River. A couple times he was spotted laying out in the road; we think this was because the road was actually warmer than the cold snow. We do know from a sighting that Sonny was limping and has either an injured leg or foot. We keep trying to distribute fliers wherever he might be headed, but he so far keeps ahead of us.

If anyone in the area does see Sonny, please do not call him or chase him, as he is very skittish/shy! Please only call his owner at 1-513-642-1980, who is always in touch with the sheltie rescue people here in town!!!

Please share this info with ANYONE you know in the Minnesota area!!!!! We really want to bring Sonny home safe! Thank you!

Sheltie missing in Mn since 12-24

Another sheltie reported to the K9AmberAlert group. I feel so bad that he is lost & hope he's safe out of the cold.

Sonny is about 45-50 pounds, sable and white with some black markings. He might have still had on an orange cloth collar with NO tags. He is not microchipped, and is neutered.

I just saw your post & had submitted the same info. I got a notice a bit ago with the info from the K9AmberAlert group. Sorry if it double posts. I sent the info to my sis-in-law who lives in Maple Grove. They are big animal lovers so she will spread the word. Praying he is somewhere safe & warm.
