Sore from wearing a diaper

That's the beauty of it; it doesn't break down easily.
 
I know the Desitin provides a barrier for moisture, but this sounds like a contact sore, so taking the pressure off is what will help more in my opinion. Leaving the diaper off should help...
 
I'm not sure what it is. Is it a contact sore? Is it from the diaper rubbing when it shifts during mid-flop?

All I know is after applying neosporin, then hydrocortisone one evening, then desitin for one day, the area is no longer red and is healing.

I did try to leave the diaper off for as long as I could. 3 accidents later, it went back on. But the sore looked so much better. Something is working and it worked fast.

You can also try edible or fresh aloe (not the jell for soothing sunburns), it really helped Ida when she had a sore on her snout.

What kind of diaper are you using? Is it washable or disposable? If it's disposable, why wouldn't you be able to cut or trim some off to keep it from rubbing?
