I'll ask again, where did my puppy go? :confused2:

Sparta is maturing, physically and mentally (thank god), she's got leash training pretty much figured out (we didn't really start until she was 8mnths - whoopsie!), and is now an expert in how to get the world to revolve around her. We'll hopefully start going to the local dog club training sessions next week, the club is so small there aren't any classes, but as members we're free to show up.

Oh, and we're signed up for a small show in two weeks. :hide Fingers crossed she'll charm the judge, too!

Your Sparta is a little beauty and that shot of her in the woods is just stunning. Good luck with your upcoming show, how could she NOT charm the judges, just look at that sweet face. :fl :smile2:

Sparta is looking great and I agree with Sullivan that the woodland pic is truly stunning.

Love both the pics - but the lighting in that second one is extraordinary! Good luck with your show, Sparta is very beautiful!

I hope you're right! There are still quite a few things I hope will "tighten up" as she grows into adulthood, she still looks a bit weedy to me, but I don't have any other shelties to compare her to (our other dog is a small, compact pinscher type with terrier ancestry - built like a tractor).

Got her all bathed (here's how that went) blow dried and and brushed through - hopefully she won't roll in anything hideous this week :fl
