Spayed female suddenly humping my other spayed female?

Is it actual humping or simply standing on top of the other dog? My two boys used to hump each other before they got fixed a couple of months ago. Humping stopped after that, but when playing, one or the other will often stand strategically over the other, pinning the other down, as if to say "I won THIS match"! At first glance it looks like humping, but its not really.

I don't really discourage this behaviour unless it seems to be overly aggressive which is rare. Mostly, it's just play - but if it's true humping, then yes, you could have a dominance thing going.

Mounting is just a sign of exuberance - it is not sexual so has nothing to do with being desexed. More often it is just a play behaviour - the dogs are wrestling.
That's how it was with my two girls. One would mount the other in order to try to wrestle the other to the ground. Once she got her down, then she'd do the play attacking.

Lately when Deska is in a really stupid mood he will even try to hump my leg. He isnt interested in any other part of my body - just the leg - and he will even grab my trousers with his mouth to try to drag it toward him. I really need to find another outlet for him when he is being this stupid!:rolleyes2:
