Starting Rally-O next week

Very cool. And Dorian sounds just like Koji, lol.

Question....who's dominant? Just curious. We had hoped Miko would be dominant because he's older, it would've seemed sad otherwise. But, he IS dominant. It's hilarious watching him take down his bigger and younger brother. It's also funny to watch Miko get irate with Koji when Koji wants to play and Miko just wants to relax. lol.

That's what I was hoping for too, but no, he is waaaaayyyyyyyy tooooooooooo passive. Maia is the boss, and she knows it. I have to protect him and his food from him, otherwise, she'll take it, and he will just look up at me, pleading with his eyes. Poor guy. Yet, when she gets too excited around me, and I keep telling her 'off' and such, he will come and get inbetween me and her, and push her out of the way. Funny, almost like he is protecting me from her! They are almost he same height, but he outweighs her by 3 lbs.

I love hearing these stories. Well, okay, any story about Shelties is fun, but hearing ones about a dog like mine, even cooler. Granted, even though Miko is dominant, they'll eat each other's food if we don't separate them. Not so bad, except Koji eats faster, so he'll get more. lol.

Maybe he is protecting you from Maia. I mean, she's all over you, lol. So cute.

I need to put together a Sheltie party here.....I'd love to see a ton of other Shelties. They're all so cute!

I first saw a novice rally competition a few years ago when I took Callie to a show to get her CGC. The CGC evaluator was also working the rally competition- I thought- Callie can do that all that. She'd not be much into agility - she'll jump on the couch but going over jumps- not so much. so we took a basic class- still need to do some work- she doesn't sit automatically so we need to work on that. Our first competition will be in September- we really have to get busy. but yes, Callie came with a beautiful loose-leash walk- had to teach her down, sit etc. She is definitely my good girl but she has her moments. she's the sweetie that anybody would love to have :smile2:
and of course, I think she's the most beautiful girl ever.

I'm sick, I have the flu, but I sooo can't wait to start. Hopefully I will be okay by Friday. It's the first class. I hope he does okay. I've seen some video's on YouTube, and Miko's nothing like that, but heck, anything is good for me. I think Miko will enjoy it, or at least enjoy time with me. :) I wonder if he feels left out that Koji does agility. Eh, we'll see. Either he'll love it and have fun, or just want to go home, lol.
