Staying unread

So if you are on the home page (& lets just use this an example) click on "sheltie rescue", it takes you to that category & lists Rescue Chat, Adopt a Sheltie, etc...

From that screen if you double click on any of the yellow icons from there does it change to white? If yes, when you navigate away to another forum but come back, does it stay white, or turn back yellow?
 
If I go in and double click it, it will go blue, and than when I go out it will go back to orange, but if I hit refresh on my browser it will keep it blue so it thinks it is read. But I have to hit refresh for it to work. The double clicking on it does work, however that is the only way its thinking its read other than going to the bottom of the forum and marking forums read...this is new problem within the last week I've noticed it, it was fine before that. Thats why I wasnt sure if there was an upgrade or something changed on the forums.
 
OK, that makes me think this is something specific to your PC. We haven't done any upgrades in the past few weeks. Sounds like something updated on your PC.

Have you tried clearing your cookies?
 
Maybe Kelly installed some special feature, just for you, which requires your input on each and every thread! You ARE one of most knowledgeable contributors, after all! :wink2:
 
just had the opposite problem- logged on and read some threads but not all new posts before I had to log off. then when I logged back on- only 2 threads showed up. I did not mark anything as read because I knew I wanted to read those other new threads. had to use the 24 hour button to actually get all caught up.
