On sunday night Storm kept waking me up about every 2 hrs to go outside, which was very odd for her, then Monday morning as I was getting there food ready she just peed right on the kitchen floor, It was full of Blood, Yeck, I grabbed a pipette and vial from my workshop and grabbed a sample off the floor and called the vet right away, luckily I had taken Monday as a vacation day to go to my wifes dads 80th birthday out of town, we got into the vet right away and they tested the sample and gave her a checkup, bladder infection Hmmm, anyway the vet offered to
keep her for the day free when she found out we were headed out of town for the day so she could keep an eye on her and she got her started on antibiotics. She seems much better today and is running almost clear, at least we caught it right away. This being my first female pup in 25 years I guess I need to keep a closer eye out for this type of thing it kinda panicked me right away .
anyway's she sleep right through till early this morning but,She sure was super snuggly when I did go to put her out ear nibbling & rubbing up under my chin , I brought her back to bed with me instead of putting her back in her crate, around 5:30 this morning and she just curled up tight against my chest and fell fast asleep till I got up at 7:00 to feed them.
 
Awwww poor Baby. I hope she is feeling better soon and wasn't that nice of your vet to keep her at no cost. It's reassuring when you know your vet cares that much. :yes:
 
I'm sorry that Storm has an infection...glad you caught it early. It definitely seems like a lot of our females (shelties in general) have had several UTIs. Hope hers clears up soon!
 
She a lot better now,after 3 day on the antobiotics she running very clear, and back to tearing the house up & pulling out all the toys ect, After Cosmo's agility class last night, I was doing some running with her to work on recall and she was flying around the hall, everyone still there was going, like holy crap can she ever fly, and of course she never shut up the whole time.

Cyn Thinks it might have been from giving her a bath last friday after she escaped, she thinks maybe she didn't get all the soap or rinse off her good enough and that might have done it, but don't really know for sure.
