Stray Sheltie at Shelter in Ohio

Oh my goodness, his poor face. He looks like he's so scared. I hope his family gets him back, or he's adopted into a new loving home!

Poor thing looks scared to death. Wow....this is a good reason for why people should get their dogs microchipped. When they get brought in as strays, they go up for adoption almost immediately if they don't have a chip or identification. So scary.

What does that mean, they've taken care of him? He looks so sad and scared, I just want to hold him and cuddle him, make him feel better. Poor baby.

Oh wow I hope they find the owners. Glad to hear the rescue has him, he looks so pitiful in that picture. Sad.

I was thinking exactly the same thing!!!

We had a terrible thing happen at the City of Vancouver Dog Pound. They adopted a dog out sooner than they should have. (I think they're supposed to wait a week) The owner, a very new immigrant to Vancouver, didn't know about the Pound and had only been checking at the SPCA shelter. By the time she got to the pound a few days had passed and the dog had already been adopted out. The new owners, who'd only had the dog for about 36 hours, wouldn't give the dog back!!! The woman was offering to pay for the dog and was begging... but the new owners wouldn't return the dog to her. IMHO... heartless people like that didn't deserve the dog!!!
