Suggestions

Nick is 2 years old now. I have a litter of kittens due at the end of the month. For the first few weeks they will be kept totally away from all the rest of the pets in the house. After that they will be introduced into the family areas while supervised, until going to the new homes. This is the first litter since Nick came to live with us. Our previous dogs (English Setter and Collie) just ignored kittens. I don't believe Nick would offer to hurt them, but if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them.

I do not think you have any issues... Shelties love other animals. Since the new kittens will not be moving fast they will not be chased.

I have no personal experience other than when Laddie was a under 6 months and I got a new kitten... they got along find when first introduced!
