Mr. Pip is a bi-blue, which is a bi-black (black-and-white) with the addition of a merle gene which randomly fades parts of the black into various shades of gray. I personally think bi-black is a very stunning color for a Sheltie, and to tell you the truth, although merles seem to be in fashion currently, I like the standard colors better. But that makes no difference to me, because, inside, they're all Shelties!
Yeah puppies are fun-- so full of antics and the thrill of discovery --they are a hoot. But then they grow up, start asking for the keys to the car, are out all hours of the night and expect to be fed when they come home, never clean up their room- that's our job. But sometimes they will sit with us on the couch, head on our lap and all is well again.
