Sweet Potato Treat Warning

reading the recipe on the link on this page - it looks easy and much more cost friendly - thanks! I am going to try to make my own too!:hugs
 
It's almost impossible to guarantee that even treats made in the US don't contain ingredients sourced from China.

It's so frustrating how little consumers are told (and how misleading labels can be!) and the best alternative really is to make your own treats, where you pick the ingredients and know where they come from. Sigh.

Over here we get produce from China and a friend's mum did a test on broccoli from China vs broccoli from Australia - the one from China had a weird chemical smell and taste and stayed fresh far longer than the one from Australia. It's not just meats from China we should be concerned about! :ick
 
If yoy can get it, I highly recommend this. I love it because its nothing but SP. No additives, nothing... It's also great for their teeth because its a semi-hard chew. The only caution I have is my dogs love it so much, I have to watch them while they eat it. I almost had to do a heimlich on Bacca because he didn't even chew it......
