I live in south Ga and I cannot find anywhere that tattoos dogs. Does anyone know where I can look?

I'd recommend contacting your nearest all-breed dog club. Often there will be a member who has a tattoo kit and can do the work. The club may even run periodic "tattoo clinics".
I'm not sure if these are close enough, but there is the Savannah Kennel Club and this club in Tallahassee. (Remember, even though the club is based in a certain city, members will be from all over the surrounding area.)

Why do you want to tattoo? Your breeder should have done it before you picked up the dog, if your breeder knew what he/she was doing.
Otherwise, if you are looking to make sure dog can be identified if lost, then I would look at microchipping Its simply and painless!

AKC does not require tattooing, like the CKC does. Most breeders no longer tattoo.

In Canada, breeders are required to permanently ID puppies before they leave - either tattoo or microchip. There is no such requirement in the US. OP, don't worry about your breeder.
There are pros and cons to any form of identification. Microchips may migrate, or they might not be read. Tattoos may degrade over time, or the finder might not know how to interpret the numbers to get the dog home. We all choose the form(s) of ID that work for us and our dogs. (But it wouldn't hurt to do a chip and a tattoo.)

All 3 of my dogs are chipped with akc microchips. My cat is even chipped. I think having both tattoos and chips have their Pros and cons.
We had a client last week to find their dogs microchip under the skin and push it out, they get lost sq, stop being readable, some people that find dogs are too ignorant to get it scanned and they take them to shelters. Our shelter is even too ignorant to scan dogs.
