I completely missed this post during the summer! I love Tear Mender, I used it on two of my dogs.

My first bottle did go hard, mind you I had it for 2 years. I tried to use it for Ginny's ears but it was too tacky.

Did keeping it in the refrigerator in a zip lock help?

btw, LOVE your dog's name. We have a Ginny, her litter mate was originally named Padfoot and my other girl Sadie has a sister named Tonks. :smile2:
