Teddy had a set back.

Great that it’s healing so well and I’m glad the test results were good and nothing serious! Spider bites can be pretty bad and obviously quite itchy for Teddy!
I think the soft cone is much cuter and looks way more comfortable but Piper is going to be jealous Teddy has a blue one!:lol:

He actually slept better I think after we got home. The sad part is I have been a spaz and this is relatively minor. Question is if he has something more serious will I do okay or crumble ?
The one thing I am finding funny is he goes into the reception area in full blown bark mode. Go into exam room and not a peep will be heard until we leave . That's my boy!

Piper is exactly the same! As soon as we leave the room he starts barking lol!

I know exactly what you mean…when Piper first got his diagnosis I couldn’t think straight. I found it helpful rather than think about what he might have I decided to think positively and that he’d be ok whatever it was. It’s perfectly normal to get anxiety from not knowing. After we had a plan I was still anxious but it was more manageable.
 
I'm so glad to see Teddy improving and hooray for his new, soft blue cone! These events take as much if not more of a toll on us I think, between worrying about them and watching to make sure they're OK and numerous vet trips. I swear I age five years with the waiting every time they're in surgery for a few hours. I must be at least 200. Now that Teddy is on the mend I hope you can relax some, Ron, and catch your breath too!
 
Well the Vet and I disagree on when the cone comes off. He said when we have solid scabbed over places But I can see him reaching back and eating them off. So I think we will wait till the scabs fall off. I don't want to start over. I realize it will take longer but..
I am still amazed that the little cyst that he has had for over a year that was less than a dime in size is now the size of a pimple.Guess that 5 dollar 60 cent per pill antibiotic must be working.
 
You are absolutely right Ann. I remember Miss April has cancer of her uterus and I had an awesome Vet, but I brought a book and sat in his waiting room until she woke up from the surgery. I remember the staff kept telling me I could go home and they would call me, but I did get that book done..
