Teeth brushing

I use TropiClean Clean Teeth Gel and raw pork necks. Vet has never had to clean any of my dogs teeth! (my oldest is 11 y/o) I will say though the dogs do not like the minty taste of TropiClean. :lol:
 
I have tried a lot of products and the very best is a weekly or bi-weekly chew session with a quality bully stick (low odor, USA sourced). My shepherd was horrible horrible and now is quite good, good enough to not need a cleaning. Melli sheltie came to me 2 years ago having just had a dental through the shelter. Her teeth are perfect. Cubs is a year and his are nearly perfect too. However, before offering a chew item you need to know there are no loose or abscessed teeth (etc.).
 
I've been getting smoked bones for Honey from the butcher as something to keep her busy while bug bites are getting to her...I didn't expect it to, but chewing on them has removed every speck of tarter and plaque on her teeth, her breath smells masses better.
