Terrible twos

I hope Diva is OK and back to being her cantankerous self by tomorrow! She's probably just trying to make you feel guilty....and it's working.

A true diva... she picked at her food... stuck her little paw down her throat... barfed... and now everyone's falling all over her and snuggling her... even the cat has been banished!! Mwhahahahaha.... her evil PMS-induced plan is working perfectly!!

Seriously though... I hope she's feeling better tomorrow!!

LOL I have tears in my eyes. You maybe on to something. She is sitting in the crook of my arm ,snuggled up against my chest. I had been not allowing her to push the others out of the way this morning and now she has done just that. She is that smart. Now if it had been Ember, I'd know it was all some part of an evil plan. Ember is definitely that evil and smart. In fact, Ember's probably ticked off she didn't think of it first.:biggrin2:

So Diva's tummy trouble lasted only one night and she was feeling better the next day.

She still had an attitude and she did growl at Ember on Sun as they met in the doorway. I removed her to the another room after that. I also noticed her body blocking Ember from going into the spareroom where the beds where and put an end to that. Lastly I noticed she was pushing her way in when I petted the other dogs. I am not really sure how long she has been doing that but once I noticed it, it was alot. No more paying attention when she did that.

NILIF started and she is sitting and going last for everything. I also started back into her regular obedience training which she haven't been doing since Aug. Puppies and agility have taken too much time away from that. Overall, in the last 2 days, she has been so much better. She has been leaving Ember alone and playing alot with Justice. She coming up and sitting for attention instead of pushing in and she is not charging the door when I let them outside or jumping up as much. I think I was just being lazy and not paying attention and letting alot of bad behavior go instead of redirecting it.Hopefully we are back on track now.:smile2:

Glad to hear that she's feeling better... and also glad to hear that she's getting back on track behaviour-wise as well.

Glad to hear Diva is back on track. You did have a few busy months between Embers injury and caring for the pups. Who had time to notice Diva's britches were getting a bit too big. Maybe she just wanted to be noticed and was acting out for your attention. Our Shelties are smart little pups.

Glad to hear that Miss Diva is feeling better and is now getting back to her normal Diva self. I guess the attitude adjustment and an upset tummy have helped. How is that sweet little boy of hers?
