The big snip

Just heard from the vet. Everything is fine and I can pick him up in a couple of hours. I'm bringing his suit and a diaper with me. Yes, keeping him calm will be a challenge - "calm" and "Oreo" do not belong in the same paragraph, let alone the same sentence! The vet did give us some pills for him that hopefully will help.

I give Pico CBD treats to help him take his nap....they take about an hour to kick in.
without them he can get a tad...cranky.

We ended up putting Pico's suit on at the vet when I picked him up, too.
he looked soo pitiful

Haha Pico's biggest problem was probably not the snip but that danged suit thingy he had to wear ---what was that about?-- ma take it off he said in his head..my people love to torture me why what did I do???

he was very good about the suit. I would bring it out and he would sit down and let me put it on. It isn't east getting the legs through the armholes but he was so patient.
i put it on backwards quite a few times and pico was very tolerant.

We got home yesterday. Oberon was so happy to see Oreo! His tail wouldn't stop wagging and he kept sniffing where Oreo's surgery was and licking Oreo's head. The meds have been working so far -- Oreo is either asleep or quietly resting all the time. He and Oberon have not been play-fighting; not sure when that will start again.

He does look kinda pitiful in his suit but so far it seems to work so he'll just have to adjust.

Here's hoping he'll heal quickly and easily -- and won't be a maniac as he usually is for at least a few days!
