The countdown begins

Yesterday morning my two invented a new game -- Chase Me! Oreo would bark at Oberon, just far enough away to be seen but not caught. Then Oberon would chase Oreo and Oreo would go under the bed. Oberon would jump on the bed and run to the other side. Oreo would then come out from under that side of the bed and start the fun all over. Oberon was smiling, which was great to see.

Yeah, I think Dixie is caving now, Davy was so cute hiding under the chair skirt, then darting out. Just so entertaining watching puppies play.

yes- Jo plays with him a lot but even Jo needs breaks. I think that Destin has figured out that the backyard is a Davy-free zone. I made a Davy yard off the front porch outside my bedroom door. wanted to be prepared for midnight potty but he has slept through the night since he came home.

Ours play that game all the time and it a hoot to watch one - usually the girl- entices the guy dog to chase her--he pretends to ignore her then suddenly the chase is on- he chases her out of the room and then zoomies come back with her chasing him, then turn around and etc etc.. If he doesn't respond right away she gets closer and closer till he does what she wants.. we sit and laugh at the whole thing and grab our drinks or whatever off the coffee table cause when the games begin the game is the only thing...

Awwww that’s sweet to hear they’re beginning to play together! Sounds like a fun game too!
