The countdown begins

I should have put the puppy in his pen- we'd been out already in the morning. his first trip, he did both and then when we went out again, no interest except to chew on a stick. so I was making breakfast, realized I hadn't seen him in a minute, he'd pooped on the other side of the island...... bad mommy not watching the puppy........

Cooper age 4 has never chewed anything but his toys and toilet paper! The toilet paper we solved and his toys are handpicked before the Terminator starts on them. Hubby and I have commented on that and then……….we went to the grocery store a couple of weeks ago and came home to hubby’s leather moccasin missing about an inch of leather and the lace. Bad Cooper, bad!!! lol. I was worried he would get sick, but thank goodness it went through with no grief. He has had the run of the house for 6 months with no issue. Lesson learned…slippers up! LOL

Hahaha yes Shelties train us all one item at a time--sorry for the moccasin... Shelties I have knowm are not anywhere nearly as bad as some other dog breeds are at destructive chewing. I have friends who have lost big portions of their couches...Ours have lost some of the "chewies" as they have grown older but still no kleenix left unguarded or "available" will long survive in our house. Could be worse so OK not good but not that bad.

The devilment begins-- I have lost a number of shoe laces to the Sheltie tooth fairy and a few pull loops on the back of the shoe as well..not a good habit. For a pup the whole world has to be its mouth at some point..
Hahaha my mom still complains of the shoes Blueberry chewed…laces missing, bows gone…although Blueberry did attempt to make the damage equal on both shoes:ROFLMAO:.
