The "Look"

Spunky is not the word~

Brian just told me we need to find him a breast plate...he starts out about 4' or so from the sofa,and soars thru the air. Sometimes it's misjudged,and he slams into the sofa. I now have started leaving a very cushy blanket there.
Man can he fly!

He has pretty much I think topped out at his size. He is only 14-1/2" tall,and only weighing in at 17#. He feels as light as a feather,and is very difficult to put weight on him. He is the energizer bunny x100.

He has been a real joy,and really has done well in his basic training.

He sure is growing up,although I have missed the real young puppy part with him,he has adjusted and meshed so well with all the pups.

He is especially fond of Jasper & Mia. Trapp & him get along well,and do play but not like Jasper & Blake do. Those two are hooked like velcro.

Sounds like he is a lot of fun! Though crazy ;)

Just a heads up that 17 lbs. for a 14" sheltie may not necessarily be light. I know it depends on the dog's build, but both of my dogs are just barely under 16" and they weigh less than 17 lbs. and are at very healthy weights. He may just have the more slender, athletic build.

He is defineately slender.To look at him,one would never guess he weighs that much. I can feel his ribs,although he does have a nice hour glass shape. And to lift him,he is light as a feather.
Must be the slender/athletic build you mentioned,cause I don't know where he is carrying this weight.
