The new guy has arrived

ya just spit things out! Sometimes you get things right...sometimes you're off base. But the beauty of this forum is that we are generally forgiving! And sometimes you get an inspiration for some wacky post....e.g. the face behind the name, what is your day job, the SUBU, etc. and you just go with it.

Ha ha, I guess that's what I need to do, just spit things out:wink2:. I REALLY have been enjoying this forum and all the passion everyone has with all the different topics. Speaking of topics, OMG, I am sorry, have I completely strayed away form this one, I wasnt trying too, :uhoh:

Congrats on your new little guy. I sure things will get better as they get a chance to get use to one another. Just keep an eye on them.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I'm happy to report that yesterday went astronomically better than Sunday. Lady appropriately corrected Sparky a few times, and yes, he rolled on his back immediately every time. When he was just a little too brash playing with her outside she started running at him at high speed and bumping him. After a few shots he hid between my feet.

She did not bother him when he went on her rug and started chewing her stuff. I did take away from her one of his toys because it was too fragile for her to chew, but otherwise she was just fine.

He slept through the night last night without a peep and was more content in his crate than the first day. We are doing a lot better getting outside to go potty. I realized yesterday how out-of-practice I was now that Lady is old enough not to be monitored. I forgot how closely I watched her for the first signs of the sniff-and-circle.

Right now he is sleeping under my chair, and he just barked in his sleep again. Somewhere in his dreams he is chasing something!

Thanks again everyone for your support. This is a great site.

Sparky is absolutely darling! And Lady is to be commended for her patience -- and her exercise program! :wink2:

Lady does very well on the treadmill! I have feeling here soon,Brian will be bringing home one,as he has talked about it now for a bit. So I'm sure Earnhardt will learn to walk on one, possibly Trapp to.

Your Sparky is a sweet looking babe! Than kyou for sharing the pictures & videos~

Sparky is one nice looking pup! And Lady is a looker as well!

btw - do you know about clause 12.4.3.1 a) of the SUBU contract? Exercise is only to be achieved through 1) lengthy walks, and 2) Extended play sessions of Fetch! Exercise equipment is expressly forbidden. The "boys" wanted me to pass this on.
