On April 18th, the forum is going to get a long overdue software upgrade. We are moving away from VBulletin and migrating to new forum community software called Xenforo. Our VBulletin version has not been supported for several years and the newer versions were buggy and unpopular. Now that Xenforo has become established, it is time to help the SN forms get with the times!
I've enlisted help from Matt of MattWServices for this migration. He will helping myself and the Moderators to make the move as painless and fun as possible. We will have a slick new design (but looks familiar to us all) and some fun new features plus new benefits for Premium Members!
Prior to the switch I'll create a new section in the Technical Assistance section of the site specifically for questions or issues surrounding the move. Once the new site is live, please be patient with myself and the Moderators if you post questions during this time. We are going to be learning how to use the software right along with you. It may take us a little more time than usual to get answers.
Once we go live on the 18th, you might see some adjustments and/or design tweaks that will be ongoing, but we hope to have the basic functionality all sorted out.
