The sheltie nobody wants

Hopefully Lucky will be able to travel this weekend (his surgery on his broken leg went well). Both Lucky and Copper are older than what the petfinder pages said. And the collie is going to collie rescue. Their progress and pictures will be on sheltie shack webpage. Maybe they can find a forever home - they have been waiting too long.

Thanks so much for the update. I can't wait to see them both safe, back at Sheltie Shack. Poor Lucky, I hope he has a speedy recovery. They are finally going to make it into recue after all of these years.
 
Little Lilly here; Mom took a break from chores so we looked up Sheltie Shack. Lucky is up there so Mom helped me sent some 'lowance to him to help w/ his operation.
 
Yes like two different dogs, all cleaned up and just beautiful. Sheltie shack is doing such a wonderful job get them back into shape.
 
Wow! So nice to see them in better shape. Real cutie pies. Shelties can be tough little dogs, so glad Lucky is doing well at his age with a serious surgery. I'm so glad they are safe.
 
I don’t know if you all had to time to browse through the Sheltie Shack website beyond the Lucky and Copper page, but after going through their site something came to my attention. We all here at S.N. discuss how we can help rescue, and we’ve talked about transport, donations, etc, but there are other ways to help, and Sheltie Shack put down some good ideas in black and white. You don’t have to right next door or adopt every sheltie that comes up on Petfinder. I’m sure we here at S.N. have may different talents that may help. Here’s what Sheltie Shack needs (at the bottom of the page). I never thought about some of these. I'm sure many rescues could use these services.

I am soooooo happy for Lucky. He is lucky after all. He has made such a change in his personality since going to Sheltie Shack - he is acting like a puppy. And he looks so beautiful since being groomed and pampered. Dreams do come true Lucky! Thank you Linda for giving Lucky your love.
