lol Bailey does not exhibit all those traits. She definitely does not understand my moods and adjusts accordingly. She has gotten a lot better though. So, maybe one day.
 
Phebe does many/most of those things. Today was my first day at a new job and our first experience with flinging herself at the door. I didn't see or hear it, but my husband said she was totally beside herself for about 15 minutes after I left.

I thought I was doing her a favor by leaving her loose and letting him crate her when he left an hour later. I guess not. :( I think I'll crate her when I leave tomorrow morning. and tell Mike to give her a treat when he leaves. Of course, she was fine when I got home at noon and more than ready to go to our agility lesson. :biggrin2:

:lol: :lol:, OMGsh neither does Megan at this point! I think the description was probably referring to afully trained matured adult, at least that's what I am teling myself :biggrin2:
 
Che is pretty sensitive to my moods and does talk back, mostly when he does not understand what I want OR disagree with me...
hmm, not seeing much of the- easy on activity, ha, Che would go to pooch park, then to his classes, then to play with cousin Sammy, then for couple of long walks and still have energy at evening...

Yes Megan talks to us also and seems to be ready for play or walk anytime, anywhere and place. Maybe when she is an adult she'll become sensitive to our moods, I can hope right!!? :o
 
Yesterday it would have seemed i was invisible to Bella, she had no need or reguard for me what-so-ever, or maybe it was that she sensed i was busy working, but later in the day i got emotional about my best friend who has ovarian cancer and started crying and Bella bounded from the floor and on to the couch and was licking my tears..then i started crying even more cause it was the sweetest thing she has done in her 5 1/2 months, and I think a bond was made that very moment because she has been at my side almost every minute since that happened. I got tears going right now just typing it.. So don't give up on those pups, I would have never thought I was going to get that from Bella, never in a million but omg how happy am i.
 
I ditto what Randi says :sadsmile:. And thank you Belladora for the encouragement that someday Megan might be sensitive to her families needs and respond to them :wink2:
 
Maddie often sits at the door waiting for my return, at least that's what the fam reports to me. As far as energy I have to disagree. This dog can go go go go go........ She is able to settle down, though, when I am not up and moving. Otherwise she is my shadow and I have to be careful when I walk because she always is in FRONT of my feet.

Deja is becoming more and more like this.. she walks right up beside me and actually brushes against my leg. Part of this is due to the attention training I'm sure but it's so cool that she feels so safe next to me when we walk that she doesn't even look ahead anymore.. she just looks at me.
