Thinking of entering Justice in Prefered

Hurrah for Justice! He gets to play with mom again! He'll have a blast even if he can almost step over the jumps.

I agree , I would put him back in the game for sure, but would be keeping a very close eye on him for any possible flair up of his previous injury. If he's enjoying it I say why not.

Ok I entered him, it is a draw so cross fingers it gets there in time and it gets chosen. Ember's is already there so I'll have to get both drawn seperately. Sometimes it fills sometimes not.

His leg issue is not an issue anymore I just need to make sure I stretch and warm him up properly. Certainly I would never go back to hard core training with him and I wouldn't do 16" again. But 12" is very doable. He is 15" so it isn't much of a leap. He still moves pretty good for 9.5 yrs. I think he'll have a blast. He is not sore this morning at all but he slept really well last night.:smile2:

Also something to think about (if there's any around you) is USDAA's new Veterans program. The dog is eligible by being 8 years or older. In Veterans Justice would jump 8". I'm not saying that 12" is too hard or anything, but just another option to consider.

I didn't get a draw. Boo! I hate draws it seems everytime I enter them I never get picked. Come on waiting list.

Boo!!! I've never been in a draw situation, but I have been on the waiting list. One time, I got a call the day prior to the trial telling me I made it. So, here's hoping you get a call saying you made it. :)
