I love it! What a great memory to have!

I'll have to dig out and scan in some photos of Callie (the pup I had growing up and Timber, who died last year).

Here's a picture of me and my Sheltie Lassie (yes Mom let me pick her name) she was a birthday gift from my Mom. Lassie lived to be 16 years old. The picture was taken in the early 60's I was 8 years old (cowboy boots and all). Yes, Lassie is sure to be one of those Angels at the Bridge. God did I love that girl! When it was time for my son to get his first dog there wasn't a question about what kind a dog he would have. For his 9th birthday he got a Sheltie too. We also let him name her "Shelly" Sun-Shine-Shelly . A better choice than I made years ago.

Lassie was a gorgeous girl. On a side note, I thought I was bad naming a sheltie Fonzie, but I think you just beat me!! LOL
