Tiny Sheltie?

I'm not sure how tall my Callie is, but she's stayed right about 15 lbs since she stopped growing taller. She's definitely smaller than my daughter-in-law's more traditional sized Sheltie, and her litter mate sister is almost exactly her same size.

I LOVE having a smaller size Sheltie. If I ever was to get another one, I'd prefer that one to be little too. She's the perfect lap-size dog. Big enough to not step on or fall over because I can see her, but small enough to fit right on my lap when I sit. Good things come in small packages :smile2:
 
When we got Katy from her Foster Mom she had a small Sheltie and he stayed that size from what she said. I would think if you do need to travel, smaller wouldn't be the worst thing.
