To glue ears or not to glue ears......

Okay, so I tried to glue up Riley's ears this morning and FAILED miserably.....

I use tape for Lexi, but wanted to add a tip that helped us. We only do her ears LATE at night. That way she's tired, and she doesn't try to fuss with her ears much. We're able to hold her still a bit longer to allow everything to set, and then she goes into her crate for bedtime.

Is it possible you got glue on the skin and not just he fur? And could he be scratching because of the dish soap you used to remove it?

He scratched at them as soon as they were set (well, within 2 minutes). I double checked to make sure that it was only on his fur, so no skin involved in the gluing  Oh, no dish soap, just puppy shampoo (he needed the bath anyway).

I tried to do it right before nap time for Riley (he's typically out for 2 hours every afternoon after a good training/play session) but apparently Riley was not tired enough......

I ended up pouring half of the bottle of glue on Che's head when I attempted to fix his ears, they were low set originally...
fortunately his ears went up on its own and now are perfect with no work from me, many dogs do so do not worry overmuch, your pup is young yet...
