Too much fun

This campground has a 3/4 to acre dogpark. DH took Cassie and Rocket and let them off leash while I stayed with Cooper, Tara and Clatabelle. (See Grill Master post). All of a sudden, here comes Rocket and a stressed husband saying, "She's playing chase the puppy and won't come to me. Take him." And off goes DH again. So, I piled everyone into the camper and strode off to the doggie play area. Cassie saw me and RAN to the fence. Hubby trapped her, picked her up handed her to me saying, "Here's your dog." And agreed to let me start her obedience classes when we get back.

I remember when we used to take Bentley to the dog park many years ago...my husband and I used to have to herd him to get him back!

Apparently, I am so lucky that I have never had any problems with Minnie's call.

Even when Minnie was a puppy and she we were in the outdoor puppy playground
- she loves to run and play - she has always come back to me when I called

She actually still does, even though she is in full play with her friends.
I call and say "So Minnie now's the end you need leash on" treat
leash on "goodbye all dogs" treat and then she happily moves on with me
