Torn/Peeling Paw Pads

Well I live in an apartment complex, so I don't really know what they use on the lawns. They have landscapers that come weekly, I'm not sure how to figure out what they're using (if anything). I only see them mow and do general landscaping.. I've never seen chemicals sprayed.

Now, we did go to flyball practice on Saturday. If there was something sprayed on the grass there, maybe other dogs are having problems? I haven't heard anything.

She's going to the vet in a couple weeks for her annual check-up and shots and all that fun stuff.. so I will try to remember to ask about it then.
 
Revisiting this thread over a year later, we have no peeling paws that I've noticed. I did switch her over to raw late last Fall, so that might have contributed? I'm not sure. We also didn't practice at the college this Spring, so if they did put any sort of chemicals on the lawn, she never played in it.
