Training tips?

We really need to buckle down and start seriously working with Rocky on his obedience since he's pretty much housetrained finally. We had such an easy time training our Great Dane, but Rocky is just so entirely different. He's got way more energy and therefore seems harder to keep focused and still. He just wants to play all the time, and who can blame him!

Does anyone have any secrets that might help us speed up the process?

I followed the traiing program of The Monks of New Skete (The Art of Raising a Puppy) for Layla. If you follow their program, I think you'll see really swift results. We also coupled it with puppy kindergarted, which was more for training me!
