Trapp knows his mom is sick~

Oh man...I am so sorry to hear that you are sick Michele. Our Shelties are amazing with their intuition about us. My babies are always at my side when I am sick....and if the kids are sick, the dogs are stuck to the kids. Amazing companions.

He really has been a sweet boy today. Other than just a bit ago,Brian took him out to play and run off some steam,so off they went with the tennis ball.

He was playing, and having a great time, till all of a sudden,he was rolling on the ground, having a real hard time. Brian got really panicky with him. And next thing I know Brian is carrying him in the house.

He comes in,Trapp is looking a bit upset, and Brian is all out of breath, telling me what he was doing outside. So I got to looking at him,I opened his mouth, airway clear, but there is a fair amount of blood.

Well Trapp has lost a record amount of teeth in the last couple of days, and he only had one canine that was left. Well it seems as though in the course of fetching,he really got that tooth a loose, and it was just hanging. And it was pushed backwards hanging! So I got me a kleenex, and just barely got my finger on it,and out it popped~

Trapp was looking at us as if to say..what the heck is wrong with you people! Just a sweet babe.

gotta go to work tomorrow-already been on vacation for a while. I'm sure that I posted a while back about the yuckies. was almost better - then the throat got a little scratchy again and now sinus congestion is worse than it was. might need to call the doc this week. sorry to hear that so many others have it too. when you need to nap all day- can put a dent in the forum posting time :wink2:

I know i'm popping in here sporadically,I can't go no wheres unless I carry the box of kleenex. It's always worse at night, right now I feel like road kill. Gonna make some hot green tea,and hopefully it will help. Hope you feel better soon!!

Wow, what a scare! I'm glad he's alright.

Brian was a mess..he could'nt hardly talk to tell me what was wrong. All I got was.."baby something wrong, open his mouth, please hurry"

He's much better now, taking his evening nap. So thats is 4 teeth in 2 days~ Poor baby:eek2:

I think Brian was more scared cause he saw blood, and could'nt figure out why he was rolling all over the ground.I'm sure it hurt, that initial hit to the tooth.

Oh dear! I am glad that everything turned out OK.

He's fine, sleeping like a babe in his crate here in the kitchen. I was actually more surprised he let me get my finger on it,to pop it out. He did pretty good,I just wanted to try to assess the situation, and do it quickly enough,he would'nt panic.

So a collection of 4 baby teeth! Over Christmas we were visiting some friends, and thier daughter had lost a tooth on Christmas eve. She was quite excited, that she found 5.00 under her pillow Christmas morning.

And to think I thought it was great to get a quarter. Inflation,I guess!

Oh goodness!! I hope you feel better...and everyone else on here that is sick too!! Trapp is tooo sweet! True is a sweetheart too....but part of me thinks she would leave my side if something peaked her interest !!

When Bailey was losing her teeth, she bleed a lot too. I was shocked by how blood was on her chew toy. Looked like a massacre. Glad Trapp is doing fine.

This morning,he was having a bit of an issue eating.I think his mouth is tender.I softened his dry kibble with some warm water, and he finally ate every thing. I Think it was the longest it ever took him to eat.

He's in wtih Brian at the moment,as it is only 7am,so he'll nap for a while.

As for me,it has settled in my chest. And it is so very cold here. The cold air just takes my breath away. At least my throat is better. I put a humidifier in the bedroom last night,so I rested some better. I hate being sick~
