Tristan is missing - NE PA

Tristan

I am so sorry to hear that Tristan is lost. I'm just hoping that you get good news soon. Be brave

No word yet. Nothing.
I put him on fidofinder.com. That other website that calls people does not call anyone on the DNC list, so I am skipping that. I have alerted all the area vets offices, shelters, etc. I have it posted locally on the internet and at a few locations, including the office of a large subdivision just north of me by maybe a mile or 2. I don't know what else to do. Its now 10 days. I am not giving up. I miss my Tristan. I keep expecting to see him looking at me tentatively everywhere I am, but nothing.
My parrot keeps calling out for him. (11 year old African gray---he still calls out for a cat we lost years ago...)
I will keep you all up to date...
Thank you for all your prayers and kind thoughts.
Karen

Karen when I saw you posted again I was hoping to read good news. I'm so sorry you have not found Tristan yet. Don;t ever give up hope. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Shelties are very resourceful creatures and can almost become feral when on their own. He will probably be hiding from people.

My cousin lost her Sheltie for 5 months over a winter (nw jersey) and he was found at a junk yard, living off the land so to speak. He was eventually brought home.

One helpful way to find a dog is if the dog has a friend that he loved (dog friend). Take that dog along (on a leash) when you look for him. He may come out for a visit with the dog.

Dear St. Francis,
Once more we turn to you for help in finding a lost Sheltie. Tristan needs your guidance and protection, and his family needs you to help them be strong until they are reunited. Keep Tristan safe and help love find a way.
In His name we ask.
Amen

Boo & I are so very sorry! I echo the prayer that Chris said for you...the feeling in your heart must be unbelievable. I hope so very much that you get your baby back.
