I am loving how much support is going out to the agility people and to help the animals. And also loving how many photos I'm seeing of Shelties. They are popular in Japan (or so I've read).
And I am so grateful that all the people I know, who know someone in Japan, are safe and sound.
My family is mostly in Hawaii and well, they weren't really affected by it. I'm also in SoCal and well, there wasn't anything to really report. Waves were just more choppy. But, in our news was a lot about how unprepared we'd be if we had a tsunami hit. However, even though Japan is prepared, I've read and heard of so many accounts where the earthquake knocked out the electricity, that they had no idea a tsunami was even coming. Scary. And it scares me that we are seeing more and more tsunami's. Last year this same time, it hit Chile.
My heart goes out to all the people and animals in Japan.
