Tully is gone

My heart is broken.

She hurt herself this morning, not sure what happened but she was in a lot of pain. Took her to ER as its Good Friday here. Once she had painkillers she settled and was happily walking around outside. But with it being Easter they thought the risk of having another pain episode was too great. Six weeks shy of 17yrs.

I feel so lost. Tully and Deska came to me after I was assaulted and lost my job and my future. Tully was my hope and she taught me to live again.

Caro we all feel your pain and sadness. What a blessing she was in your life, and you in hers. You kept each other going until she wore out. We've lost the 4 super seniors, Tully, Checkers, Gavin and Layla. I hope they are all playing at the Bridge together. I'm so sorry. :hugs

Thanks. Feeling so lost. I've spent the night and day picking up and washing all the rugs, towels and ortho beds that come with having an elderly dog. I'm trying not to cry because it scares the other animals - you've never seen a house full of cats and dogs empty so quickly as when I cry. I took the stroller out of the car - you know I've been taking a stroller with me on walks for over 10yrs (Deska before Tully) so that

I've done some Salvia cuttings to grow over winter to plant at the ER where Tully died. I'm hope to plant some Cosmos from my garden tomorrow and take down a toy for her to be cremated with. I know it's silly but Tully died on Good Friday and if anyone was going to come back in spirit on Resurrection Sunday it's my little girl.

We think she was having bad seizures. It was so hard because she was smiling and happy when she got the painkillers. But I couldn't leave her there. Of course Tully's there forever now. That makes me cry.

The video is of her happy pottering around the ER garden. Funny girl. And a photo of her pottering around my friend's garden with Kismet.Tully and Kismet.png
