Tully's little flyball victory

Deska does flyball too - when he feels like it. He was goofing off on Sunday - kept stopping at the box and trying to cadge a treat off the box loader person, so embarrassing. Plus he has been pulling up sore a bit after classes so he only ran as backup to another team at our club. In our 'baby bullets' team only my two Shelties are doing consistently clean runs - so the others are holding us back a bit

Dogs just love flyball. There's a lot of socialising and running and jumping and balls so what more could a dog want. And from a sheltie perspective they get to BARK and BARK - bit of a bad habit that but Tully loves the barking. I would thoroughly recommend it for the dogs and its great socialising for the humans too.
 
Congratulations Tully! That is a great achievement, overcoming the fear of other dogs with so many dogs around! I think mine would run off and socialize and forget all about the ball!
 
You've done a tremendous job in helping her overcome her fears. Attacked 3 times? Wow is all I can say. I think I may carry a small spray of OCD "just in case." Perhaps I should use it on the owners, not the dogs.
