Two new titles

Congrats on the two new titles, especially in that sort of heat. Unfortunately I have to wait to watch the videos until I get home.

You have every right to be proud of your little girl! You and her have come a long way. The things you identified to work on, better timing and crosses, come with practice and confidence (in yourself and Bailey). You will get there! I have no doubt about it.

Well done! I do not think I will be able even move in 93 degree heat:no:
do you do anything special to prepare for this type of weather?

Great job! Although I have to say, watching the first video, I kept waiting for her to fly off that teeter again... glad she slowed down though!

Thanks! For me or my dog?

For me... sunblock, light clothes, a baseball hat, lots of water and stay in the shade as much as possible. I was most exhausted after walking/running the course. Thankfully, the classes ran large to small dogs, so I had some time to cool down before our turn.

For my dog... crate under the canopy with a fan, lots of water and a cool coat. I kept it on her most of the day. While she was in the crate, she wasn't even panting. Did my typical routine before our run, which is a potty break and quick stretches. Two dogs before it was our turn, I took off her cool coat. After the run, she got water, treats and her cool coat was dipped in water again before putting it back on her.

The heat certainly made it more exhausting. I'm so happy I did not sign up for Sunday as well. I could not have done that again.

Thanks! I'm holding my breath at every trial. I feel like she runs up with speed, possibly thinking it is the dog walk. That's when I scream "target" to slow her down.

Congrates on the titles To both of you well Done Team .Now on to the Next Challenge :biggrin2:

The Runs both looked Great.

Randi, congratulations on the titles! Well deserved! (Sorry I'm so behind, I'm finally caught up after our vacation and I save all the agility threads for last so I can really enjoy them :smile2:)

I have to admit, when I watched your videos I had a strong urge to yell "RUN, RANDI, RUN!" Get going--Bailey knows her job :biggrin2:

And that is what my trainer screams at me in every class...

I'm just not confident in my handling skills yet and don't fully trust Bailey. It doesn't help that with every trial and every class, Bailey keeps getting more confident and faster speed... I'm not ready for that yet.
