Unique Gift for Agility Instructor

It is that time of the year again :biggrin2:

I was wondering if anyone knows of a unique gift idea that we can get for our agility instructor. It would be from my kids.......

I've done a couple of things. One year I gave them high ball glassware. But they were doggie ones. i.e. it said, "sit" and the dog is shown lying down. ;) Another year, I made them t-shirts that said, "Koji loves me". And yet, one year I was poor, so I baked the training center cookies (for all the trainers and what not). I try to give them practical things (doesn't even have to be training things).
 
I think practical is always good for any kind of teacher. As cute as they are, one can really only appreciate so many knick knack type items. I gave one of my instructors a nice pair of socks that she still comments on. They were my favorite athletic socks, Thor-lo Experia, in her favorite color ... pink. Gift cards to Starbucks or a local coffee place are another big hit.

Last year, I gave my instructor an 8x10 of one of her dogs- a pic that I had taken earlier in the year.

I actually did the clean run gift card last year.....may just do that again this year. It is something she can collect and put towards more equipment, or whatever she needs/wants.
 
my friend who is a teacher, always says that she has cute post its, cups and other cute teacher's parafernalia etc. to last her a lifetime, she only wants gift certificates.

So....I will probably stick to what I got her last year, which was a Clean Run GC. They were easy to get, you just order and print out on your own computer.

Unless someone thinks of another place that she may like.
 
I bought a customized leash from Kollars by Kathryn for one of our agility friends (club founding member as a kid!) when she left...but it was easy because she was going to college, and I got her a leash with her college emblem on it.

I can never have too many agility collars/leashes.

That got me thinking, she probably can't have too many tugs either. My kids are good at making the braided tugs with the fleece material. Maybe I can have them make her a few tugs and include a card with a GC in it.
