*update on Ember*

I hope that she will recover quickly! and I am sure that she will be just fine. I can't wait to see new pictures of her though! She must be so 'big' :wink2: now.
 
She is doing great! She almost back to her old self! Even caught her opening the kitchen door and sneaking in today. :( She has pick up this howl like thing that she does at the cats. I think maybe it hurts to bark? She wanted to jump in my lap this morning, but I had to break her little heart and not let her! ;) I think her fur is starting to fluff out a little, too. I don't know why but when she came home from the vet's, her fur was flat! Usely her fur is fluffed and it makes her look wider than she really is, but with her fur flat she did look skinny!

Ember turned 6 months old last week! So, today she spent the day at the vets office, being spayed. She is doing great, just sleepy. She ate dinner just fine, although the vet said she wouldn't feel like eating. Not my little PIG! She had to have stitches and staples. He said it was because she is so skinny. Now, he said she was skinny, BUT she weighs a whooping 26 lbs! She really doesn't look skinny to look at her, because of all of her fur! It makes her look really wide, until she takes a bath. Just keep her in your thoughts until she is all healed up! ;)

I pretty much lurk her most of the time but when Katie was still with us she weighed most of the time 25 pounds and my vet thought she was fine, would rather see her on the slim side then the fat side that she mostly see's. Katie did loose some with her cancer but gained it back. She was on the tall side to at least 16 to 17 inches. But then to she was 8 years old. My best to Ember and her healing process. Would love to see a picture of her.
