Update on Phoebe's broken leg

Thanks to all for the good wishes. I am posting a couple of pictures now that she is six months. You can see that the right leg is skinnier than the left due to loss of muscle and fur, especially where the tape was. Her coat is coming in nicely and the one ear that stood up is back down. Wonder if they will go back up again? She is about 14 inches tall and weights 12 1/2 lbs and is back to her old obnoxious self, biting and herding my shoes. This is a hard behavior to tone down! I haven't tried taking her for a proper walk yet because I want to wait a little until her paw pad toughens up. She has already shown her joy at being sprung by indulging in zoomies. Hope that vet was right when he said she could run!

 
Phoebe is looking great and the muscles in that leg will fill out again now that she can exercise. Three cheers for zoomies! :lol:

I love shelties doing their zoomies. I bet that leg catches up and fills out soon, just in time for spring, woohooo.. kick up those paws Phoebe!!!!
