Very Quiet MMM

Good Morning All!

MMM is very quiet this morning. No tearing thru the valley looking for something to roll in during morning potty time. No real interest in the red tail hawk over head. No zoomies thru the house. No scattering toys willy nilly. No pouncing on our heads to wake us up. No jumping into the shower to lick up the water after morning clean up, no flipping his water bowl just to see the fountain of spray AND no ripping through his bowl of food like he normally does. He is just quietly sitting looking at me and then laying down and snoozing on his squirrel.

Now before I panic you all, listen to his yesterday. Camp is closing this weekend and the camp does Halloween. Yesterday, campers were here all morning before I went to work saying good bye (lots of kids and activity) and then when I went to work, a good friend of mine (whom I trust with my pup because she has two shelties of her own [I am trying to get her to join in with us]). Anyway. Kim took McKinely up to her place to play with her Duncan and Toby and to meet and greet all of the Trick or Treaters.

(Yes, he had his jesters collar on and yes, he got PLENTY of Special Attire Hardship Pay)

Anyway, Kim said he just played and played and played. He played with Duncan. Who played back. He tried to play with Toby. Who said No Thank You young sir. He attacked the kids (around 250) that were trick or treating. He ran around like a wild banshee. He went through the brook and over the bridge and under the bridge and he smiled and charmed and played the part of Jester to a tee. He was the center of attention ALL DAY YESTERDAY!

Kim brought him home around 9pm and he slept soundly to this morning at 7. Since then he is just very quiet.

Just tired? Did I let him get too tired? Anything I should do special today? I work from 2 till 10 tonight, so he will be able to rest then.

Sounds like Mr. MMM had a very busy day yesterday - lots of overtime! and definitely needs LOTS of rest. Do you think when management was not looking, the little trick or treaters were maybe helping Mr.MMM to some of their treats and now Mr.MMM has abit of an upset tummy? As management, I would watch him, make sure he is resting after such a long day - it's not easy being so cute you know.

What a great time! I love it when mine actually get tired enough to sleep through. I bet he didnt get any daytime shuteye so he will need some catching up time. Can you imagine his dreams though, he is probably tiring himself out again when he is sleeping just by dreaming about all the activity.

What a great way of putting it!

Coming back from my Mom's today, the boys just crashed all afternoon! Which was good, because I had a late night too, and needed the downtime! MOM PWO!
