Odds are the scoop is buried in the tub, I've found that in the past, but I don't even use it. I use a measuring spoon for the exact amount I need. But in case it's not, you give a corresponding amount of VP to your food. So if you feed 1/4 cup of kibble, you give 1/4 teaspoon of VP; or 1/2 cup, 1/2 teaspoon, and so on. Give the VP every time you feed in the amount of the food. Hope that helps!

Its most definitely not in the bottom of the tub, I checked repeatedly and all but sifted the whole tub.
I spoke to Lee a while ago and let him know. He offered to mail me a scoop, which I said wasn't necessary, I just wanted to be sure of the measurement.
I also inquired about the expiry date, and he ensured me that if I had any VP left at the end of the year, that he'd send me another tub for free.
Such a nice person and wonderful customer service, just like everyone has said.
Sadie doesn't seem to mind the taste at all, I wet the food and VP to make sort of a grave and Sadie just about picked up the bowl with her paws and poured it down her throat.

Lee and the whole staff there are wonderful and so helpful. Isn't it great how the dogs love it? On the occasions when I don't wet the food, like if we're traveling, mine just lick the bowl clean of every last bit of powder.

I gave in and ordered. I'll probably also continue giving my boys their glucosamine supplement (Cosequin DS). Do you think it'll be too much? Or it'll be okay? (I have a year's supply, need to use it)

I did the same thing. Bought the Show Dog formula and I'm using up my other joint/muscle supplement with it. When that's done, I'll get the VP joint/muscle stuff. Unless you're feeding them the VP joint/muscle you'll be fine. I don't think I'd feed that and a joint supplement though.

I bought the canine athlete ultimate formula since it has everything I need for my two dogs. It does have glucosamine in it already, but I wonder if my Cosequin will be too much. Hmm....maybe I should call them. I don't think it'd be too much, but you never know.

I feed Sadie vp joint and muscle and also give her a glucosamine supplement too. I spoke to Lee about it and he said that the glucosamine present in vp joint and muscle is very small and the majority of it gets absorbed.
Sadie gets 500mg of glucosamine per day

Is the 500mg including the vp joint and muscle? Or just the supplement? The Cosequin DS is about that much. Maybe I'll just call them....to be sure.
Just called. I guess what they mean by "getting absorbed" is that other supplements don't get absorbed (not sure why). But I guess giving them both won't hurt my dogs. Just don't want them getting so loosened up all they do is lounge around the house all day, LOL. Oh wait, they do that already.
