Video of Merlin's last BAA comp

Finally got my video sorted of Merlin's last performance at BAA, don't know if we will get to another BAA show with all the changes, but we will compete at this venue again.

Anyway, here is the video, notice on day2 Intro agility a case of major handler error! And poor Merlin lost his footing on the dogwalk on day1. But the big news is look at that a-frame! And no barking at a male judge in the ring, woohoo!

very nice runs! He looks like he is having so much fun out there with you! Tail is just wagging like crazy! Very fun to watch! :pop:pop

My heart almost stopped on that first dog walk!! So glad he stayed on and didn't fall!
 
You should have felt my heart after he lost his footing!:eek2: especially as I couldn't see what was happening.

I can get muddled no matter the colour of the equipment!:lol:
 
Looking good, He does look to be having fun out there, the focus will come lots of distraction with 2 rings going, I have never actually done a 2 ring event with either of my dogs so I am not sure how they would handle that.
and lots of A frame practice on that last run.
 
Thanks Robin, I see improvements every time he runs. But what makes me happiest is seeing his tail wag and knowing he is enjoying himself just as much as I am:smile2:
 
To memorise the course I walk it and try to create a visual map in my head, I also pretend I am running with a dog so I can think about turns and where I need to stand. I then watch other dogs run and keep going over the course in my head. I was so tired on the Sunday of the last comp that my brain just melted I think, and then I made a mistake and everything flew out the window.
 
Thank you, I appreciate having experienced eyes take a look as I don't always realise what I am doing right/wrong:lol: I am really enjoying myself.
