We are from Russia :)

Welcome to you, Elena. We're all happy to have you, Lisa and Pushkin be a part of Sheltie Forums. Thank you for being someone who knew that even older dogs with medical issues still need a loving home.

My dear sheltiefriends! Thanks a lot! At you it is very cosy! And it is so beautiful that it is so much fans sheltie in the world!

I so have understood, what photos it is possible to insert only as links?

I have a lot of photos, and certainly it is possible to tell about favourite dogs long. I always dreamt of a puppy blue-merle sheltie for agility, but the destiny has disposed so that I have two old dogs, sable-white and tricolor, but I happy! They very betrayed, clever, the best! Lisa is the aristocrat, artful and redish, as a fox.

And Pushkin the open guy, very tender. And still Pushkin loves... To read verses! He is real poet  It simply favourite of all family, I do not represent, as some people can throw out such defenceless and devoted animals.
Pushkin in clinic have cut bare, because of it it went in clothes.

I have looked that here at a forum too there are people who are engaged in charity and the help requiring shelties. In Moscow we too are engaged in it. I organise charitable actions at the dog's shows and we sell different souvenirs, postcards and other things in favour of a charitable command.

And still I so am glad to hear from you kind words about Moscow and Petersburg (Petersburg is practically the second native city), come on a visit, on exhibitions, and simply to communicate! And still the greeting in Russian is so unexpectedly! Please, excuse me for my bad English...:rolleyes2:

A bit later I will try to publish photos of the creative sheltie-works.:wink2:

Welcome Elena. Your shelties are beautiful. How very kind of you to take in two dogs who need you so much. I hope you enjoy it here.

Welcome! It is wonderful to meet people from all over the world who love Shelties, as we do. Bless you for giving a loving home to Lisa and Pushkin. From the photos, it is obvious that they adore you and that you love them in return.

Welcome Elena, Lisa and Pushkin.

The pups are beautiful and thank you for rescuing them.

Never ever apologize for "bad English" to a United States citizen because too many of us speak only one language. You are to be commended for your excellent grasp of another language.

Welcome again, we are happy to meet you.

Welcome! You have lovely shelties!

My step-mom is from Russia, too! Her name is also Elena :) I took Russian in college, but I don't remember much.

Paka! (I think it means "byebye!")

Welcome Elena and Lisa and Pushkin. You are a very loving and caring person to take these two beautiful shelties into your life. I just love both of them. I cannot get over Pushkin's long, long hair! He is just beautiful. I have two shelties, both young. I wanted a blue merle sheltie to do agility with too! My two are technically blue merles but I can only do agility with one of them and she does not look like a blue merle at all, but like a tri! (the other one, has a bad hip so he cannot do agility)

I cannot wait to see your sheltie-works. Thank you for posting pictures. The one of Pushkin on the operating table made me cry. I just cannot understand how people can be so cruel. But thank God for people like you who open your home and hearts to these beautiful animals.

Welcome from the other side of the world. I absolutely love Moscow, its one of my favourite cities - it has the most amazing atmosphere (and the best cemetary in the world). Until recently I used to visit every 2nd year. I am also a lover of 18th and 19th century Russian literature and poetry - Pushkin is such a great name!

Both yours have enormous and beautiful coats, guess those cold winters are great for shelties. They look very youthful for their ages. Are there many shelties there?
