Zulu will not eat anything "leafy". But he will eat cabbage if I chop it up and add to his food. He will not eat raw carrots, but loves them steamed. Bananas, now that will get him spinning!

I got two paws up and one paw down. Benny rolled it around in his mouth and I thought I heard a PTUI! as he spit it out. Fil got it almost before it hit the floor. This was for red cabbage...even I don't care for white unless its in coleslaw!

Cooper eats lots of veggies. When I am preparing cabbage I chop a bit of the core for him in small squares. He doesn’t seem to care about the leaves of vegetables. He can hear the peeler coming out of the drawer and appears there next to me in a flash. lol

We are a cabbage free house but here is how it would go. Spitfire would want it because Angus would. Angus would want it because he is a goat-sheltie and will eat anything including non-food items.

I'm with Karen on the cabbage thing and would be in the same location....
My in-laws are root vegetable farmers in Newfoundland. Not only was I not Canadian on top of not being a Newfie, but I also don't eat cabbage and turnip.... I worked my way into the family eventually - lol!

I'm not sure I've tried cabbage on them - we do make coleslaw occasionally. They usually like green things like broccoli so I imagine they would like it.

I’ve never fed mine cabbage although we do eat it, but one of the freeze-dried foods I’ve used includes it as a main ingredient which was the first time I’d seen that. It’s supposed to be good for them although I’ve heard it can make them gassy.
