Wellness Canned Cat Food Recalled

Thanks, some of my friends have cats, and this is good to know. I care for a friend's cat periodically and was going to pick up some Wellness cat food for her since it was on sale at Jack's Aquarium with my Wellness dog food. Whew glad i didn't make it out to buy anything yet. Big thanks.

I just wanted to post some information about the recall in case anyone else is affected.

Once you call them they ask for your name, address and phone number. Make sure you have the cans with you because they ask for the UPC Code and the Best by Date.

After that, they send out a box (prepaid shipping) and instructions on how to return it. They send you a credit once they receive the food you send them.

I really like Wellpet, the produce great pet food and they're a great company.

This recall is very benign in nature compared to most recalls and it was voluntary, which only makes me like them more.
