I like box loading but it does require focus so it usually is tough for me on the first one of the day 
. Our one team is all different balls though so I am glad I don't do that one 
Spitfire is a bit of a chicken on people so I bring him around to get petted and have people give him treats (I provide them to the person). Most everyone is willing to help when asked (you can tell when someone is headed out to race and not ask them). It seems to have helped him. Shoot last practice he was going around nose bumping everyone to see who would give him treats, though those are all his people.
