We're on a roll....

Wow, Tami, you have certainly jumped in with a bang! Congratulations! It sounds like a great weekend. Isn't it funny how different judges do look for different things and it all goes so fast that there's so much to think about!

So glad to hear you're going to Nationals! It will give us a chance to meet! We'll have to have a Sheltie Forum cheering section.

Cool and it is interesting that you need to know the judges. Funny how the little nuances in almost any type of competition can make the difference at high places.

Yes it helps to know what each judge likes/looks for. Otherwise your just wasting your time and money. If you have a sable and showing under a judge who will only put up blues why bother?!? If its a European judge they tend to like finer bone/smaller shelties as opposed to the US heavier ones, so if your dog is a little moose its not going to get looked at. And than there are the judges where you cant figure out and its a crap shoot.

Yay for you doing the handling. I knew you could do it. Congrats on getting your feet wet.

You sound like me at my first agility trial. My stomach was full of knots. And I was freaking out almost every run/minute of the day. lol.
I'm sure it'll get easier with practice.

Congrats to you and Tucker on all his wins. He really is one very beautiful boy!
